We still do not have doors on the new built-in upstairs (are you listening dude?). In the meantime, I need to come up with some handle/knob options. I'm not sure if I want to go "modern" in the upstairs and keep the downstairs bathroom and kitchen more in line with the 20s-30s feel of the house. We are also planning on building a bunch of built-ins inside the knee walls. So I need to find some cheap hardware since I'm going to be buying a lot of it. Any ideas? Modern or period?

I say period. I like this one the best:

I like the cabinet latch. I think they'll hold up really well and they remind me of what you like for your kitchen as well. They are at the same time period AND chic.
