I like the idea of painted stair runners... more cost effective and more creative options.
This winter we are also planning on pulling up the carpet upstairs and painting the wood floor up there. That might also dictate the color of the stair runner too. So many options! Actually the Dash and Albert stair runners are really well priced too.
