The great decorating debate...

...the Keep Calm and Carry On poster.

I took this lousy cell phone picture at A.C. Moore yesterday. Yes, it can be found next to kittens in a basket and Twilight posters, but does it matter?

I admit that I have a red Keep Calm poster in the guest bedroom and I like it.

What are your thoughts? The good, the bad and the ugly are all welcome.

Knitting away...

'Tis the season my hands cramp up from knitting in a fury to get everything complete for Christmas. So far I have finished two scarves. Many more projects still to tackle. Agh!

Giving the basement some love

Since the gas company was installing new lines in our basement yesterday, the dude decided to keep them company down there. He did some straightening up in the laundry corner.

He found a table from my Opa that we were not using and gave it a fresh coat of paint for the new "folding laundry station." I'm sure James Bond would be proud.

We will be working on making the basement a happier place this winter... because it is the warmest "room" in the house.
